Speculations about the future of Joao Felix continue, as there is still nothing concrete about it.

The Portuguese is said to want to leave after falling out with coach Diego Simeone, while many big clubs have expressed interest in the player.

The Premier League is thought to be his most likely destination, with Arsenal said to be favorites to sign the forward.

A permanent move is believed to be unlikely during the January transfer window, with Atletico Madrid demanding over €100m for his sale, but a loan deal is an option.

Manchester United and Chelsea are reported to be the other clubs interested in the former Benfica striker.

However, the president of Atletico Madrid, Enrique Cerezo, has stated that the 23-year-old can still remain at the “Wanda Metropolitano”.

“In life there is nothing impossible, but it is normal for Joao Felix to stay at Atetico Madrid”, he said to “Carrusel Deportivo”.

Joao Felix has a valid contract with the Spanish club until June 30, 2026.
