Arsenal hand another chance to Reiss Nelson in tonight’s Europa League meeting with FC Zurich.

Nelson came off the bench at the weekend and scored twice as the Gunners beat Nottingham Forest 5-0.

The winger has been rewarded as he keeps his place in Mikel Arteta’s side when they face Zurich at Emirates Stadium on Thursday, looking to seal top spot in Group A.

Arsenal have been boosted by the return of a number of players for the game, with Bukayo Saka, Mohamed Elneny and Oleksandr Zinchenko all back in training.

Elneny starts in midfield, while Saka and Zinchenko are both on the bench along with the likes of Gabriel Martinelli, William Saliba and Martin Odegaard.

“They are in different stages,” said Arteta on Wednesday. “Obviously Mo had a long-term injury but he has recovered in a really good way and he’s been training with the team for a week or two now.

“Alex is just very recent and he trained just two training sessions and Bukayo just missed one or two and he was fine today.”

Regular No1 Aaron Ramsdale desputises for usual Europa League goalkeeper Matt Turner and Emile Smith Rowe is still a long-term absentee, while Granit Xhaka is suspended in midfield.

Arsenal XI: Ramsdale, White, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney, Elneny, Lokonga, Nelson, Vieira, Nketiah, Jesus

Subs: Hein, Partey, Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli, Saliba, Cedric, Tomiyasu, Marquinhos, Zinchenko, Smith, Hillson.

Arsenal lost the last game in Europa League against PSV 2:0. It was bad display by Arteta’s men but tonight they want to cement first place in the group. Any other result will risk the first place. Nelson is in starting line up after great performance against Nottingham in weekend. He scored two golas and assisted one. Mikel Arteta is trusting in Nelson’s quality. Lets see if he will do good tonight.
