It wasn’t so long ago that Mykhailo Mudryk was using his Instagram to post about Arsenal and Mikel Arteta. The Ukraine winger was destined to join the Premier League leaders.
But fast forward to the present, and whilst Arsenal fans won’t like it one bit, the 22-year-old has now stated on his Instagram that ‘London is Blue’ and how he ‘can’t wait to get started’ with Chelsea.
It’s some turnaround in events for Mudryk, as Chelsea will find that a lot of Arsenal supporters will be looking on with interest to see how he fairs.

MUDRYK DEBUT
The contrast in mood, style of play, results and performances at Chelsea compared to Arsenal is pretty stark, at this moment in time.
If Mudryk had made the expected move to the Emirates, then he would have joined a team full of confidence, swagger, togetherness and real belief that they can win the Premier League title.
It’s fair to say that the mood across London is very different, with Graham Potter still trying to find his feet after replacing Thomas Tuchel in the dugout and the huge amounts of money spent on players still trying to glue together.
Given the injuries and poor performances at Chelsea, then it wouldn’t be a surprise if Mudryk is thrown straight into the deep end by Potter on Saturday.
Tenth-placed Chelsea, who are at risk of falling into the bottom half, will lock horns against ninth-placed Liverpool, with Mudryk hoping to make his debut.
Hopefully, for the all-action forward, he doesn’t follow in Joao Felix’s footsteps and get sent off on debut.
Nonetheless, whilst that’s the short term, another game to keep an eye on down the line is Chelsea’s away clash against Arsenal on April 29. Imagine Mudryk having a say on whether or not the Gunners win the Premier League title?!
