Martin Odegaard couldn’t have looked any more awkward when a journalist started signing to him after Arsenal’s Europa League match against Bodo/Glimt on Thursday evening.
The Norwegian was in the starting lineup for the match at Aspmyra Stadion.
He played 70 minutes as the Gunners won 1-0.
Bukayo Saka scored the only goal of the game in the 24th minute to give his side all three points.

So bizarre.
Why the reporter felt the need to sing to Odegaard, we will never know.
But we’re glad he did because it made for a bizarre yet comical exchange. Odegaard didn’t quite know where to look and almost looked bemused as he was serenaded.
He remained polite, though, and told the reporter after he had finished singing, per football.london: “Thank you, that was beautiful, great work.”
