Liverpool fans have expressed their sympathy and concern for Jurgen Klopp following Sunday’s 3-2 defeat away at Arsenal. Klopp’s side, who were being tipped to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title back in August, now find themselves 10th in the table following their latest result. This is now officially Liverpool’s worst start to a season in 10 years. The Reds have won just two of their opening eight league fixtures this term.
During a post-match interview with beIN Sports, Jurgen Klopp conceded that his team are out of the Premier League title race as the gap between themselves and Arsenal extended to 14 points. He was very emotional, as he was ready to cry.
Jurgen Klopp talking to @JanAageFjortoft here. He looks very down, understandably. Managers are always so relaxed with Jan and this interview is well worth a watch #LFC pic.twitter.com/Dh292hfHdf
