Mykhailo Mudryk will earn £127,000 per week as salary at Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal after snubbing interest from Graham Potter’s Chelsea, according to MediaFoot.
REPORTED SALARY OF MYKHAILO MUDRYK AT ARSENAL
The report in the French news outlet has claimed that Arsenal, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain all want to sign Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk in the January transfer window.
However, it is Arsenal who are set to win the race for the 22-year-old winger.
The Ukraine international is determined to join Arsenal, who are close to finalising an agreement with Ukrainian Premier League club Shakhtar.
MediaFoot have claimed that Mudryk will sign a four-year contract with Arsenal with the option of another year.
The youngster will reportedly earn €7.5 million per season at the Gunners.
It comes to around £127,000 per week.
ESPN journalist Jorge Baravalle has also reported on Twitter that Arsenal will sign Mudryk.
We covered the report here on HITC Sport.
GOOD DEAL?
In our view, a weekly salary of £127,000 for Mykhailo Mudryk is not a bad deal for Arsenal.
For a 22-year-old international playing in the Premier League, that is quite standard really, especially when you consider that the Gunners are a wealthy club who who could win the Premier League title this season.
It will be interesting to see how much money Arsenal have to spend in transfer fees for the Ukrainian star.
