Arsenal have just one day left to complete all of their transfer business for the summer, with incomings and outgoings expected at the Emirates Stadium on what is shaping up to be a hectic few hours ahead.

Things continue to go to plan on the pitch as Mikel Arteta’s side maintained their 100% record in the Premier League this season with a 2-1 win over Aston Villa last night, it’s now time to focus on action off the pitch.

Mikel Arteta has made it clear to the Gunners hierarchy that he wants one or two more signings in before the transfer window slams shut tonight, whilst the likes of Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Hector Bellerin could still leave the club. Arsenal have been one of the busiest clubs this summer, spending in excess of £100million for the second year in a row, with Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Fabio Vieira, Matt Turner and Marquinhos all making the switch to north London.

Palmeiras talent Danilo has emerged as a potential signing in the last few hours, but a deal for the Brazilian could prove difficult. A central midfielder is thought to be the Gunners’ priority, but don’t rule out a new winger arrival with Cody Gakpo, Mykhaylo Mudryk and Pedro Neto all linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium.
