Moises Caicedo with a instagram post has told everyone that wants to leave Brighton.
Here it is his post:
Moises Caicedo statement after £60m bid received from Arsenal as exclusively revelaed today
“I am grateful to Mr. Bloom and Brighton for giving me the chance to come to the Premier League and I feel I have always done my best for them. I always play football with a smile and with heart”.
“I am the youngest of 10 siblings from a poor background/upbringing in Santa Domingo in Ecuador. My dream always to be the most decorated player in the history of Ecuador”.
“I am proud to be able to bring in a record transfer fee for Brighton which would allow them to reinvest it and help the club continue to be successful”.
“The fans have taken me into their hearts and they will always be in my heart so I hope they can understand why I want to take up this magnificent opportunity”.
This was his statement. Arsenal offered £60M for him but Brighton rejected. Because of this, Caicedo decided to make his wish public.
Arsenal are keen on the 21-year-old as they are looking to sign a central midfielder. They have been exploring a deal for Caicedo in recent days and have now made a firm move for him in the final few days of the window. But Brighton have rejected this bid.
A new player in midfield was a long-term target for the Premier League leaders, but this has been exacerbated by injury concerns over Mohamed Elneny.
The north London club do have considerable funds to strengthen the squad in this window, as shown by their failed pursuit of Mykhailo Mudryk.
Arsenal are top of the Premier League. Tonight Gunners lost against Man City in FA CUP with result 1:0.
