Gabriel Jesus has not travelled to Norway ahead of Arsenal’s Europa League group-stage clash with Bodo/Glimt.

The Brazilian was forced off late in Sunday crucial victory over Liverpool and is expected to be fit to face Leeds at the weekend, but has not been risked ahead of Thursday night’s meeting at the Aspmyra Stadium.

“We thought that with everything he has been through in the last few weeks we thought it was better that he was staying there,” Mikel Arteta explained.

The Gunners will also be without Oleksandr Zinchenko, meaning Kieran Tierney is likely to start at left-back, having been left out of the XI against Liverpool in favour of Takehiro Tomiyasu.

Predicted Arsenal XI (4-3-3): Turner; Cedric, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney; Vieira, Lokonga, Odegaard, Marquinhos, Nketiah, Martinelli
