Arsenal centre back Ben White gave an entirely nonchalant interview after his side triumphed over Liverpool on Sunday.
The Gunners were exceptional once again in the bumper Premier League clash and ran out 3-2 winners on the day.
The victory moves them 14 points clear of Liverpool – who many expected to be Manchester City’s main title rivals this season – and reaffirms Arsenal’s status as a potential league-winning force.
Although, despite the celebrations and obvious elation that comes with such an enormous result, White couldn’t have seemed more relaxed and carefree in his post-match interview with beIN Sports.
White’s interview
White was first asked whether he felt the win over Liverpool, a team which they had struggled against in recent years, was a statement victory.
“Erm, yeah, obviously to play against Liverpool is always tough,” responded White.
“In recent years, we obviously haven’t got the results we wanted. This year is different.”
White was then asked for his views on the effectiveness of Arsenal’s defensive unit, who came up against four Liverpool strikers in the form of Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez.
“I think all week we’ve been ready for anything. Tactically we’re ready and any situation that happens, we’re on it.”

Maybe White just isn’t one for interviews because nobody can deny the defender’s passion for winning with Arsenal football club.
His performances on the pitch say all they need to.
Although it is certainly interesting, given White has previously admitted that he doesn’t like to watch football and rarely bothers with it to this day.
