Mikel Arteta is set to face the press after Arsenal’s clash with West Ham United. The Gunners came from behind to secure all three points and gain a seven-point lead at the top of the Premier League table.

Arsenal dominated the possession in the first half and had a Bukayo Saka goal ruled out for offside. It looked on but the replays showed a very close glance on the winger’s boot which played Eddie Nketiah offside.

Despite the pressure it was the visitors who took the lead. William Saliba slid in late and brought down Jarrod Bowen in the box.

Said Benrahma took the spot kick and smashed it down the middle. Arsenal had their own penalty dismissed by VAR after a previously-given handball was ruled to have instead hit the defender’s head.

The Polish keeper was then at fault just five minutes later as Arsenal took the lead. Granit Xhaka found Gabriel Martinelli and his shot near-post wrong-footed the Hammers stopper.
Arsenal then found their third with a much-needed Eddie Nketiah goal. A pass from Ben White found the striker who spun and shot low and hard into the bottom left-hand corner.
