Arsenal are now ready to make a bid for Dusan Vlahovic after missing out on Mykhaylo Mudryk, according to a report from Calciomercatoweb.

After months of speculation, Mudryk has moved to the Premier League. However, it is not Arsenal who have signed the Ukrainian. And with that, they now have a significant amount of money to spend on their other targets.

Reports from Sport Italia claimed that Arsenal have already made contact over a potential move for Raphinha. But there is another name on their wishlist for this window.

Arsenal ready to make Vlahovic move

Previous reports from La Repubblica suggested that they were planning a summer move for Vlahovic, with a move for Mudryk set for this month.

However, with Mudryk heading elsewhere, it seems that Arsenal have now brought their plans forward. In fact, Calciomercatoweb reports that they are now ready to make a bid for Vlahovic.

The Serbian could leave Juventus this month. And Arsenal could offer £71 million for the striker.

Of course, after watching Mudryk be linked for so long and then head elsewhere, Arsenal fans are probably not going to get carried away about the idea of signing Vlahovic.

He has been on the radar for some time. And yet, it was Juve who signed him from Fiorentina 12 months ago.

Mudryk and Vlahovic are different players who play in different roles in the forward line. So there are no guarantees that they will immediately switch their focus to Vlahovic.

But not signing anyone in this window would be a real error from the Gunners. And Vlahovic is a ‘ridiculous‘ talent with a lot of potential.

So perhaps Arsenal will indeed look to bounce back from missing out on Mudryk by making a big bid for the Juventus star.
